Helen Keller and Halloween

My girlfriend, her roommates and I were thinking of ideas for a Halloween couple costume for us.

Morgan suggested that I be Helen Keller and Taylor (my girlfriend) would be Helen Keller’s guy.

In other words Taylor would be my Anne Sullivan (translator and communicator for Helen).

Me: “But wait… Helen Keller’s guy was a woman. Not a guy.”

I was thinking about Anne Sullivan and Helen Keller – I know my deaf history.

They started laughing.

Me: “What?”

Them: “Helen Keller’s GUIDE not GUY.”

Me: “…………. This can’t get any more ironic.”
